the website [link] is gone...for the second time. This truly has been a waste of time
:icondreadpiratefluffy:
To anyone who is wondering. I was able to get a hold of Steve just fine a couple of weeks ago and this is what he said about the project:

We have had some major set-backs with the project, mostly in dealing with game mechanics and patents. The website server was hacked and temporarily banned as a result. Please feel free to sell prints of your art as if you didn't have a contract with us. I will keep you updated with the project as much as possible.

Do you have his email address?
:iconshockbolt:
Did they hack his DeviantArt account too? And his e-mail adress lists? At least he could have contacted the ones who had already sent in the signed contracts and let them know what was going on.

Definitely. It makes me sad, it could have been handled better. I got myself so excited about things. I have to stop working for no money up front! This is the second time something like this has happened to me.

I have to say this isn't the first time this kind of project has gone dead. When You get a certain amount of "decent art" online, You get contacted "all the time" by people who has "a great idea for a computer game" or as in this example a "new fantasy trade card game" etc...I've learned the lesson now and won't participate in another waste of time as this has been. :-)
